Chloe Wilson
Principal Lawyer & Founder
Chloe Wilson is a Canadian employment lawyer and criminal defence lawyer known for her thorough preparation, passionate representation, and commitment to client-focused advocacy. She is the founder of Wilson Defence Professional Corporation.
Chloe provides comprehensive legal services across employment law, human rights matters, and criminal law. She brings extensive advocacy experience to her practice, having managed a high-volume caseload across multiple levels of court and dispute resolution forums. Chloe assists individuals navigating a wide range of workplace issues, including wrongful dismissal, termination and severance negotiations, constructive dismissal disputes, resignation and layoff matters, and concerns involving workplace harassment. She is known for her strategic approach, effective communication, and dedication to achieving fair and practical outcomes for her clients.
Chloe’s academic background spans New Zealand, France, and Canada. She completed a conjoint degree in Law and Arts, majoring in French and Politics, at the University of Auckland, followed by a semester at SciencesPo in Paris, where her research explored the protection of Indigenous rights across multiple legal systems. She later completed her LL.M. at Osgoode Hall Law School with a focus on Canadian common law.
After completing her master’s degree, Chloe began her career with a practice in Hamilton before moving to a firm in Toronto, where she continued to expand her advocacy and negotiation skills. She managed a broad range of matters in both roles before later advancing into an associate position and ultimately founding Wilson Defence Professional Corporation.
Outside of her legal work, Chloe stays active through Crossfit, diving, snowboarding, and golf. She is fluent in French and thoroughly enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures. Chloe is also committed to community engagement and access to justice, having volunteered in correctional facilities, delivered legal-education programming, and supported advocacy initiatives for Indigenous and marginalized communities.
